‘My creations are never narrative. I don't want them to symbolise anything. This is unusual in our culture, where everything has to ‘mean’ something. Perhaps it is through this absence of meaning that they take on meaning.
I make emptiness; massive emptiness.
The great purity of the glass and its lack of colour support this idea of simply ‘being’’.
